The rumours of his arrest had begun after the Nigerian police zonal public relations officer, Dolapo Badmus, shared a comment that was misinterpreted on the singer’s photo on Instagram. She had commented that the police was looking for him. After the news of a possible arrest spread, Kiss Daniel took to his Instagram to reveal a chat between himself and Badmus. The chat revealed a conversation on a possible collaboration between the police and singer.
